A Night to Remember

by Don

I sat gazing out the window at the newly falling snow. It was late, and so was Gina. I had phoned everyone I could think of to try and find her, but no one knew where she was. Gina had gone out to put the finishing touches to a party she’d set up, and was going to come right back. That was at 5 pm, and the witching hour had already come and gone, and still no sign of her.

I’d called the office where she had set up the party, and they had told me she’d left shortly after the caterers arrived and had set things up. So I called everywhere I could think of looking for her.

It was close to 1:00 in the morning, and I kept going back and forth looking out the window. It was a beautiful night, and I might have enjoyed it more had I not been so worried as to Gina’s whereabouts. I walked back to the window again to look down the street, and when I did, I saw a pair of headlights coming around the corner. Whoever was driving the car was using a little more of the road than they should have, and in the snow and on icy roads that’s not a good sign — too easy to lose control.

I recognized the car as it approached the house and felt a sigh of relief as I saw Gina pull up to the driveway. She turned the car a little to sharp turning into the driveway and parked the car part way on the lawn and in the driveway as she came to a halt.

The relief I felt was rapidly changing to anger as she stepped out of the car and giggled as she saw how she had parked the car. She dropped her keys and took two steps sideways before bending down to pick them up. She never once looked toward the house as she giggled and staggered her way to the door, flipping one key after another looking for the door key. Of all the idiotic things to do, drinking and driving, and in this kind of weather no less. I got away from the window before she spotted me and headed for the bedroom. I was going to teach her a lesson she was never going to forget, but
not now. She was home safe and in her obvious condition anything I said or did now would be half forgotten by morning. A hangover was going to be the least of her problems in the morning.

I slipped into bed just as the front door opened. I heard the keys jingle as they hit the floor again, and her quietly giggling as she picked them up. I rolled over and pretended to be asleep as she tip toed into the room. I have to admit, it was funny listening to her making so much noise while trying to be quiet. She “shhhhed” the closet door when it creaked as she opened it, and “shhhhed” the wall as she bumped into it to keep from falling when she took her shoes off. And by the way she slipped into bed, I think it’s safe to say she was asleep long before her head ever hit the pillow.

I woke up early the next morning, fixed some bacon and eggs, toast and jam, with orange slices, orange juice, and coffee. I placed the plate on a tray with a rose, and took it into the bedroom and placed it on the night stand next to the bed. I went over to the window, opened the curtain and let the sun shine fill the room. Gina moaned, rolled over and covered her head.

I smiled and walked over to the bed, and gave her a few pats on the bottom and turned her around. “Sit up, I’ve got a surprise for you.” I told her. Gina groaned and said she was sick, she didn’t feel good and wanted to go back to sleep. I helped her sit up, and propped some pillows behind her back, and then set the tray on her lap.

I could tell this didn’t set to well with her stomach, she turned a little pale and looked up at me and gave me a half smile. “Oh Honey, this is a nice surprise and really sweet of you, but I really don’t feel good this morning.”

I sat on the side of the bed next to her, and picked up a piece of bacon and began nibbling on it. “Well, you were out late, and it was cold last night, maybe you’re coming down with something.”

“No, I’ll be fine, I just need a little rest, I’ll be allright.” she answered. She picked up the orange juice, and asked me to get her a couple of aspirin. “My stomach is a little upset, and I have a slight headache is all, but I’ll be fine in a little while.”

As I got the aspirin, I asked her why she got home so late and why hadn’t she called to let me know she was going to be late.

She picked up the orange juice and I handed her the aspirin and then took the tray from the bed. Gina apologized for not calling, and explained that as she was leaving she ran into a couple of old friends and the three of them took a side trip to the lounge to have a cocktail and talk over old times. They’d gotten so caught up in reminiscing they lost all track of time. She said she would have called but thought I had probably gone to bed and didn’t want to wake me.

I looked at her and said, “You know how I feel about driving and drinking. It’s hard enough driving in the snow and ice sober, but it’s even worse when you’ve been drinking.”

Gina looked at me, and was very adamant about letting me know that she wasn’t “drunk,” that she’d only had a couple of cocktails and that was all, and drove home just fine.

“Oh really now?” I took her by the hand and pulled her out of bed and told her to come with me. “I want to show you something.” I led her into the living room and opened up the front curtain and told her to look out in the driveway. When she did, I asked her to explain how the car parked on the lawn and not in the driveway. Her eyes opened wide, and she covered her mouth and let out with a soft “Oops.”

Still holding onto her hand I led her to the dining room and pulled out a chair from the dining room table and turned it around. “Oh and by the way Gina, breakfast in bed isn’t the surprise I was going to give you, this is! In less than a heartbeat, I’d sat down and pulled her over my knee.

I wrapped my arm around her waist holding her in place over my lap and told her I was going to make sure something like this never happened again! I grabbed the waistband of her flannel jammies and yanked them down. “Don’t you dare !” she hollered, looking back at me over her shoulder. “Don’t you even think about it!”

I slipped my hand under her panties and slid them down over her bottom, and let them rest halfway down her thighs. “You’ll pay for this! I’ll make your life miserable for the rest of your life if you do this to me!” she yelled.

“Good !” I replied, ” I hope you do, because that’s how long I want you around. For the rest of My Life !!”

And on that note, I raised my hand high in the air, and brought it down squarely on her upturned bottom. Gina’s head came up like a shot, and she gasped. “Stop that this, OWWWWW!”

My hand came down again before she could finish her sentence. I raised my hand again and now I brought it down relentlessly on that lovely bottom of hers. She struggled to get off my lap and began kicking her legs. I stopped only long enough to clamp my leg around hers to keep her still and from sliding off my lap before I was finished giving her the spanking she deserved.

“Why are you doing this?” she cried out. “I don’t feel good, my head hurts and you’re doing this to me. You know I hardly ever drink, I don’t deserve this. I’m a big girl, and I can have a drink with my friends once in a while if I want!”

I resumed the spanking with the same enthusiasm I had begun with, and told her she was right. She did have a right to have a drink with her friends now and again if she wanted. She was also right her not drinking very often too. And! She was also right about being a “big girl,” because a responsible young lady would “never” have gotten behind the wheel of a car in the first place after drinking when she wasn’t used to it and drive herself home, especially in weather like this.

It didn’t take long for her bottom to change from white, to pink, to red, and I heard the sniffles and knew she was close to tears. But I was determined to make sure she’d never do anything like this again.

“In the future, Young Lady, you call me to let me know if you’re going to be late! Is that understood?!?! I was worried sick about you last night and called everywhere trying to find out if you were all right!”

Between the “ow, ow, ow’s” she promised she would. The tears were flowing freely by this time, but I didn’t let up with the spanking one bit.

“And secondly,” I added, “if you ever do something like this again, you get a hotel room for the night and call me, or call a taxi to bring you home. I don’t care how much it costs. IS that clear?”

“Yes, yes yes !” she cried, ” I will, I will, I promise!”

I stopped spanking her and let her lay across my lap until she calmed down a bit. When she had, I let her up, and stood up in front of her. She lowered her head and put her face in her hands sobbing. I lifted her chin until she was looking me in the eyes, then brushed the hair from her face, and wiped the tears from here eyes. I leaned down and gently kissed her on the lips and told her how much I loved her.

She fell into my arms crying, and I stroked her long, blond hair. I whispered softly in her ear, “I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have give me grief for the rest of my life than you. And I plan on being around for a long, long, time.”

Gina smiled at me and kissed me deeply. She reached behind her and gently rubbed her bottom and with a wry grin said, “So do I.”
